The drunken man was getting assisted by casino security guards and two good Samaritans. But he was difficult to carry and had repeatedly fallen to the floor.
Michigan state troopers were on patrol and spotted the visitor in the lobby, according to MLive, a regional news site.
The troopers took over and began carrying the man at about 2 a.m. to a nearby hotel where he had rented a room. Along the way, he “intentionally headbutted one of the troopers in the face,” according to an arrest report.
The troopers charged the suspect, but he was so he was first taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital.
After it was medically safe to move him, he was transported to the Detroit Detention Center.

After winning, four of the suspects began to play different games while Zhang and Liu left the casino. Hu later told police Zhang had given him $5K in exchange for taking part in the plot, authorities said.
Money won while taking part in the scheme went to Zhang, police said.
Lin, Hu, and Chen each posted a $100K bond and were released from custody. Zhou remained in Pennsylvania’s Northampton County Prison. Authorities were seeking Liu and Zhang as of late last week.
It was revealed that Hu and Zhou took part in casino schemes in other states, police said.
