Tony Orlando, who performed his first Las Vegas concert in 1973 at the Riviera, has announced that he s tying a yellow ribbon around his career.

The 79-year-old singer whose 1970s hits include Knock Three Times, Candida, and Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree  will hang up his microphone after appearing Jan. 19-20 at the Orleans and Jan. 21 at the South Point.

Speaking of retiring, pop-punkers Sum 41 will bring what they claim is their final headlining tour to Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19 via Ticketmaster.
